Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Brianne . I am a 22 year old university student looking to provide help for any and all students. I am currently in teachers college and will be graduating in the Spring. I would love to expand my experiences and assist any student who may need some help.

Tutoring Experience:

Tutor - Brock Reading Clinic

Community Service Learning - Placement in grades 1 - 6 classrooms

Babysitting - Assisting children with homework

Tutoring Approach:

Working one-on-one with students allows them a better opportunity to ask questions and stay engaged with their work. I plan on help the child by showing them how to approach their work, direct them and encourage them when doing well. I would use a student guided approach where I would try to meet that students learning style.
I think it is best to provide support to the child by keeping their spirits up as to not discourage them.
