Personal Description:

I am currently finishing my second year of university, as a double major in general science and education. My general science degree is focused on biology, chemistry, and psychology. I have experience with student teaching and tutoring, especially in elementary school classrooms. I also work part-time teaching dance to kids from age 2 to age 13.

Tutoring Experience:

I tutored elementary-aged kids throughout middle school and high school. I also completed my education practicum through the university this year and gained experience student teaching in both grade 2 and grade 4 classrooms. Additionally, I work part-time teaching dance, to kids ages 2-13.

Tutoring Approach:

I love to incorporate games into my lesson plans, especially for younger students, and try to keep learning as fun and engaging as possible! Learning often occurs more easily when people are interested in what they are doing, so I love to hear which ways students prefer to learn.
For older students, I can help with test prep, and understanding class material for assignments. I completed high school biology, chemistry, and physics, and am now taking biology and chemistry in university, so I would love to help students with either of those, as well as any other subjects they may be struggling with.
