Personal Description:

I am a graduate from SFU Computing Science, and was an SFU Entrance Scholarship recipient. I've lived in Canada my whole life, and I'm currently located in Port Moody though I'm able to tutor within the tri-city area, Burnaby, and nearby municipalities. Throughout my time at SFU, I attained relatively high grades compared to my cohort and have received the President's Honour Roll and Dean's Honour Roll multiple times. I completed three co-op terms while at SFU, and I'm currently working full-time in downtown Vancouver at one of the big tech companies.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience teaching students in the high school and university age range as I've assisted other fellow students with learning how to solve math and computer science problems.
I also have experience working with younger children as I used to be a club leader of a youth public speaking club. I also taught students of all ages as a Taekwondo instructor.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to teach by providing an open environment for students to ask questions about what they're learning. As most math and computer science problems require good critical thinking ability, I'll be focusing on developing that in the student so that in the end, they can become comfortable solving those problems on their own in the future.
