Personal Description:

I can help students build a solid foundation of the basic concepts in the subject they are learning. However, I understand that each student learns differently, so I will adapt my methods to meet their specific needs. I am a dedicated science tutor with the ability to help students of all ages in all things science-related.

Tutoring Experience:

As a college student, I graduated with my bachelor's degree in biology. I scored 33 on the ACT Science. I began tutoring in high school. During that time, I would help other students with their homework. During my last two years of high school, I tutored students for a private tutoring company and worked with special education students.

Tutoring Approach:

I begin by asking the student a few questions to help me judge where they stand currently in the material they are learning. I can start to fill in the gaps and help them approach the more complex material.
