Personal Description:

I am currently an undergraduate student majoring in psychology specializing in forensics and drug addiction studies. I was born in Vancouver and raised in Calgary. As a younger girl, I struggled with English as being a second language and had great mentors to help me be successful. I would love to apply my knowledge that I have gained over many years to helping students. I have published poems in Canadian books as a child and this was one of many proud moments of my life. Growing up I had a great passion for science, it was my favorite subject in school and would love to help any child struggling in this area.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored younger individuals throughout the years specifically friends and family. This has helped me gain skills to help children be successful.

Tutoring Approach:

I would create a fun, encouraging, and comfortable environment for my students to make sure they gain valuable knowledge in a creative way at the end of every session. I will be helping the student with class work, assignments, test/quiz help, and to better understand material in class. I will not assign additional homework unless requested by parent.
