I'm Ashley, a bilingual professional with a bachelor's degree in international studies and social sciences, who has tutored, translated, and taught English as a Second Language since 2017. My teaching experience ranges from very young learners to adolescents and adults over forty.

After 2 years of blindness, I am ready to return to teaching after suffering severe corneal abrasion.

 Having taught for several years and observed classes in class, I am super tech-savvy and comfortable teaching all four areas of language learning. The ability to read, write, speak, and listen. In Honolulu, I realized my true calling was to help others set goals, overcome language fears, and become confident in their speech, which would carry over into their lives and relationships.

Tutoring Approach:

Every individual is unique and learns differently. In order for my student to focus and be excited about class, I need to learn about his or her preferred learning style, hobbies, and upbringing. People who are interested in a topic will be more engaged and eager to learn more about it. Only by doing can we learn!
