Personal Description:

Hello, I’m Asad, a member of Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) in Good standing. I have been helping students with their academics since 2001. I connect with my students and help them understand in a way that matters to them. I’m fully student-focused with the goal to boost their confidence in math, physics and chemistry.

-Highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator who wants all children to be successful learners.
-Skilled in adapting to students' diverse learning styles.
-English is the main language during tutoring.

Previous teaching experience includes:

1) 15 yrs of one-on-one tutoring experience
2) 2 yrs in Windsor Public Board, Windsor, Ontario
3) 3 yrs in Weldon Park Academy (private high school), London, Ontario
4) 1 yr in Al-Taqwa Islamic Secondary School (private high school), London, Ontario

Tutoring Approach:

I believe every student has hidden potentials to do and achieve great things. These potentials/talents need to be identified and sharpened using the best possible tools and techniques (i.e… effective lesson planning and modified teaching strategies to meet everyone's needs) for applying to solve complex problems. Engaging the student in the learning process remains at the core.
