Personal Description:

I am a biology tutor for college and high school students. In addition to offering general biology tutoring, I also help students who are taking advanced courses such as IB or AP Biology and those who are preparing for a standardized exam in the field such as the MCAT Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in chemistry and I am currently pursuing a medical degree. I began tutoring in college where I worked with student athletes in the fields of chemistry and biology. I've also helped tutor students who were preparing for the MCAT.

Tutoring Approach:

I'm a firm believer in helping students help themselves. It is my goal to teach students new ways of learning in addition to the material we cover for their course. To do this I break the material down for them to make it easier to understand and teach them how to leverage independent learning resources to understand the material better.
