Personal Description:

I am available as a science tutor to work with elementary, middle, and high school students as well as those in college. I can help students with a variety of science topics such as Microbiology, General Biology, and Molecular Biology. I can also help students prepare for the Science sections in various standardized exams like the ACT and SAT.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. I went on to earn my Ph.D. in Medicine. I have been a science tutor many times and understand how to foster each student's growth and development.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that hard work is what leads students to succeed and that practice is required to achieve a true understanding of how science works. When I first meet a student as their science tutor, I give them a diagnostic exam so I can determine where they need the most help. This also gives me important information like their strengths and the areas to focus on during tutoring.
