Personal Description:

My name is Anthony. I am a University of Guelph alumnus currently enrolled in Teacher’s College with University of York’s education program for the Intermediate/Senior Stream (Grades 7-12) for Social Sciences and Mathematics. I am a lifelong honor student and I have 7 years of experience working with students. Education is my passion and lifelong career path.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 7 years of experience working in educational and instructional settings with students aged 10-18. This is a combination of working in outdoor education, in classrooms and also tutoring one on one.

I have worked in Math classrooms with grades 9-12, both applied and academic strains. I have a thorough understanding of the Ontario Math curriculum and all courses within it (Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, Business Math)

Tutoring Approach:

I believe everyone is capable of fantastic things in and out of the classroom, and sometimes it just depends on the approach or style best suited to that student's individual learning needs. Whether it’s help breaking down lessons, completing and understanding homework, being able to apply knowledge to complete assignments, or thoroughly preparing for tests and evaluating them afterwards, I am here to help any student achieve their goals and objectives. Students will leave our sessions and their courses with a complete and fundamental understanding of how to succeed in any Math or English course from grades 6-12. We will structure our sessions together based on what your needs, goals, and timeframe allow.
