Personal Description:

I began tutoring as a junior in high school when I helped a friend who told me that I explain concepts so that she could understand. Since then, it has always made me happy seeing my student's faces light up when they finally understand something. Now, I am a French tutor who can help with anything from building vocabulary to reading and writing in the language.

Tutoring Experience:

As an undergraduate, I earned my bachelor's degree in music performance. I maintained a 3.8 GPA in high school and took several AP tests, scoring at least a 3 on each one. I became an official tutor in my junior year of high school, and I have been tutoring since.

Tutoring Approach:

I aim to make sure that my students understand why they are learning a concept instead of just memorizing answers. I like to get to know my students before tutoring even begins, both as a person and as a student, so I can create customized lessons that they will benefit the most from.
