Personal Description:

Hi everyone! My name is Anna, I am currently in Vancouver. I am a certified International Chinese teacher for teaching Chinese as a second language.

Tutoring Experience:

I had 12 years professional teaching experience in China.
I taught Chinese to my friends.

Tutoring Approach:

My Teaching style and approach are: I will use material such as ppt, video, audios, example of text, articles, presentations, questionnaires In my class, I try to create an immersive class environment for students; for example, if my student is not a beginner, I will use less English language, instead, use the Chinese words which he/she has learned to make he/she understand a language point, if my student is a beginner, I will use more English. I teach grammar in an efficient, easy, and fun way. I encourage students to practice speaking a lot in class, and I correct students' pronunciation, grammar, and pragmatics when needed. I teach Chinese language as well as the culture, and daily life sample behind it. I will offer specific course to meet students' specific needs, and provide individual curriculum plan. I will recommend relevant teaching materials according to students' level. I will send learning materials and homework for students' review and consolidation of students' learning after class
