Personal Description:

I went to the University of Guelph for Computer Science and graduated at the top of my class. I have a successful career as a software developer for the last 6 years. However, my love of computers does not stop there. After work hours I am normally reading up about new technologies that are out there in the computer industry.

Tutoring Experience:

I am a mentor to one of my co-workers. This means that I am responsible for their growth. Over the past year we have seen tremendous growth in my mentee and it has been noticed by others outside of the two of us. Even outside of work I have helped them grow into much better programmers than they would have been otherwise.

Tutoring Approach:

I find that many people learn better by doing and working through problems on their own. However, when there are blockers or questions that's when a tutor is really needed to help guide them to victory. For me, I like to work on paper (or whiteboard) and work through the questions that you have.
