Personal Description:

I chose to become an English tutor when I was an undergraduate struggling to understand the material I was studying. I enjoy helping students who are in a similar position and feel that having someone to assist you can help you overcome learning obstacles. If you are struggling with concepts, I can work alongside you, and we can work through the problems together.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently a Doctoral Student in Public Health and hold a master's in Biosecurity and Disaster Preparedness and a master's in Biology. My undergraduate degree is in General Science (pre-med). Throughout my education, I have tutored students on the side and currently hold a position as a graduate TA.

Tutoring Approach:

Central to my approach is the idea that everyone can master a subject if the content is conveyed in a way that is easy to understand. As an English tutor, it is my job to explain concepts in a straightforward manner so that my students fully grasp the material and enjoy the learning process at the same time.
