Personal Description:

I believe that listening to your students is the most important part of tutoring. Every student learns differently, and it is my job as a tutor to adapt the lessons to meet the specific needs of the student I am teaching. As an English tutor, my most valuable skills are communication, patience, and open-mindedness. I aim to empower my students by teaching them to use their strengths to overcome their weaknesses.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated from cum laude with a bachelor's degree in history. My thesis was on imperialism in the Middle East during the 19th and 20th centuries. During my time on campus, I assisted a professor with his manuscript. I was his editor and researcher. I am comfortable tutoring students of all ages in English concepts like grammar and comprehension. I can also help with college English, college essays, and more.

Tutoring Approach:

I take an active approach to tutoring. First, I get to know my students' needs, favorite subjects, and what they like. Then, I help them unlock their own potential.
