Personal Description:
I am currently a part time Pre-IB English teacher at OCDSB and I supply as an occasional teacher around Ottawa.
Tutoring Experience:
Experience teaching Ontario curriculum English courses grades 9-12 (Academic and University levels) as well as Pre-IB and IB1 English.
Experience teaching Ontario curriculum Music courses grade 9-12; provide's tutoring for brass instruments, beginner piano, and guitar.
Tutoring Approach:
I provide differentiated one-on-one in-home lessons catered toward each individual student's strengths and learning preferences. I construct long-term plans for my students based on their learning goals for improvement. I help students with learning exceptionalities in English as well as students preparing for a multitude of upcoming tests; International Baccalaureate entrance exam, the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test, and writing for post-secondary education.
