Personal Description:

Akshat grew up in a small city, always loving school and extra curricular. He began tutoring math and physics in high school, when he was volunteering to teach kids in his neighborhood. Akshat graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, a premier engineering institute in India, earning a bachelor degree. After graduating, Akshat's love for Math and critical thinking took him to working in the field of Analytics. He then decided to complete his masters with an MBA degree from Indian Institute of Management, the best MBA college in the country. After moving to Toronto, to continue his love for numbers and logic, he started working with BMO as an Analytics Manager. He is an easy-going fun loving guy, in love with sports and puzzles (anything to keep the juices running in my brain!). Living with his wife, he loves to travel and explore unique cuisines and cultures.

Tutoring Experience:

Akshat began tutoring in high school, when he used to volunteer teaching kids in his neighborhood. The quest for unique challenge and love for numbers made him continue his passion, taking up part time coaching for smaller group of students. He specializes in concepts of Math, Physics and Business & Data Analytics and has been teaching since the age of 17 years and has grown in experience with each passing year. Apart from school curriculum, Akshat is a sports player himself and possesses experience in coaching/training kids in Table tennis and Soccer.

Tutoring range: a. Math: Kindergarten to College, b. Physics: Kindergarten to College, c. Sports|Table tennis/Ping pong trainer: Age group 4-14, d. Sports|Soccer: Assistant Coach Age group 4-14.

Tutoring Approach:

For Math and Physics, Akshat has a preference to use a more customized approach for teaching and coaching. Given that each student has certain unique strengths across different subjects and topics, he tries to identify the same to coach them on their strengths and work on their challenges. This helps in building student's confidence in the subject thereby provides momentum to their overall development. Akshat continues to strive for excellence in helping his students form a concrete understanding of numbers, hone the skills of critical thinking to solve problems from the world of physics and train for sports to learn the importance of perseverance and discipline.
