Personal Description:

My name is Aidan . I am a writer and artist currently based in Yellowknife, NT. Born in Toronto, I studied English, philosophy, and Spanish at Dalhousie University, making it to the dean's list nearly every year of my undergraduate. The recipient of multiple scholastic awards and nominations, I am passionate about clear writing, concise ideas, and making education fun.

Tutoring Experience:

Since completing my undergrad, I have worked as an arts and wellness teacher in the communities around the Northwest Territory. My job has been to deliver mental health, wellness and addiction education through the arts. This has been an invaluable experience in that it has shown me the importance of making education fun and accessible, as well as teaching me how to be a patient and considerate mentor.

Tutoring Approach:

I am passionate about the subjects I love: English, Spanish and the arts. For my students, that passion comes through and makes the learning experience exciting. As an artist, I incorporate creativity into all the projects I assign kids, and as an enthusiastic person, I try best I can to make the experience fun.
