Personal Description:

I am a private maths tutor and coach with experience tutoring as a TA , student and part time at university of Toronto, Heriot Watt Univeristy.

An Actuary and statistician by profession.

Tutoring Experience:

I have had many teaching/ tutoring experiences as a private maths tutor and coach for students and part time at university of Toronto, Heriot Watt Univeristy.

Working as a Teaching assistant during my univeristy days, i went on to get a a teaching position with Voila Learning Toronto. This experience has allowed to take on both one-to-one and group sessions with my many students. Helping them improve on their grades and developing an interest in Maths.

Some subjects taught include but not limited to
calculus for management , economics 1 and 2, Probability and statistics 1, 2, advance derivative pricing, statistical computation, introduction to finance, life insurance mathematics, Actuarial mathematics, research methods

Tutoring Approach:

I enjoy working with other students and have a passion for communication, i saw tutoring to be an avenue for me to do what i like (maths) and as well as communicating while helping others understand those concepts they find a little difficult.

Working with different youth associations in Toronto where we share ideas and learn from one another, i am in constant communication with people from varied age ranges.

Primarily i like solving maths problems and researching on new methodologies. Using an interactive approach to deliver my classes, where by the student engages and points out areas of weakness, we go through. followed by application problems and practice with solutions at the end.

very much interested in Football (playing and watching). Also i fancy singing ones in a while when with pals. I enjoy family time aswell as chatting with people.
