Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Paul and I'm from Sydney, Australia. I really enjoy learning and imparting knowledge to others for their benefit.

Tuition Experience:

I hold a CELTA from Cambridge University and am a CPA with many years experience in private sector roles so I am well placed to help you learn English including any business speciality.

I also have a Diploma in Project Management from the Australian Institute of Project Management, and hold a Six Sigma qualification, both of which I put into practice leading projects and training staff across my career.

Tutoring Approach:

I aim to tailor lessons to learner needs. As a student of three languages myself (Italian, Spanish, and Hebrew), my view is that motivation is "the" main factor in the struggle to learn another language, so am keen to align with your particular interests.

I am a goal-oriented teacher and believe in "Plus One" learning; that you should finish each lesson having learnt at last one knew thing as a platform to build on for next time.

Also an avid learner and researcher of the language, I hope that in addition to teaching you English I may also impart interesting points about its history along the way, rather than simply dry grammar and vocabulary rules. In this way knowing the "why" behind things will also help you to better remember the "what" and thereby enjoy a more complete English learning experience.
