Information about Daniel - South Morang tutor

Personal Description:

As a bassist, Daniel has worked with Guy Fletcher (Dire Straits), Mercury Prize-winning producer Charlie Andrews (Alt-J), and AMP-nominated songwriter Thomas Savage. He is a founding member of signed electronic band Kanzi, and has shared the stage with artists including Little Comets, The Vaccines, 22-20s, King Charles, East India Youth and NZCA Lines.

Tuition Experience:

I completed my BA Hons in Professional Musicianship with a 1st at BIMM studying bass. I was later brought back as staff, where I taught bass for their BIMM Academy project (focusing on students between the ages of 7-16), and as a music teaching practice tutor on their masters level teacher training course. I am currently teaching with ABC Music Group and Aspire Music School, where I teach children from primary school and older.
I have years of experience privately teaching music, where I taught guitar, bass and double bass to students of all ages. I prided myself on my ability to tailor my sessions to the needs of the student, as well as focusing on making lessons challenging, engaging and fun.

Tutoring Approach:

Learning an instrument should be fun! I focus on working towards goals set by the student and making it as fulfilling and enjoyable as possible. I always make sure all classes are tailored to the individual student's overall wants and needs. I have a working with Children's Check and have experience teaching across many different ages!
