Personal Description:
Hi there! My names Alesha and I’m a Second Year University Student who got an atar of 98.55. I took 3U Mathematics, 2U English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Engineering Studies so I'm extremely familiar with the senior syllabus. I love teaching students and supporting them in fully grasping the material they are learning. I currently tutor a wide range of students, ranging from K-12 and I enjoy seeing things click and finally make sense for my students. I believe everyone deserves a good education and those who need extra support shouldn't have to pay an arm and a leg to obtain it, I make an effort to keep my rates as affordable as possible at ($50- $60 per hour). I am a lover of all things science and mathematics so I would say it's my specialty, but I still enjoy teaching other subjects such as English and Engineering. I also help with all things early entry and applying to UAC.
NSW SUBJECTS TAUGHT:

I have four years of tutoring experience, and I now work with a number of students ranging from K-12.
Happy to provide references :)
Tutoring Approach:
A little insight into how I structure lessons: I use a method known as TEER--some students who don't like school refer to it as tears :) TEER stands for: Theory, Explain, Examples and Reflection so each student can really understand and consolidate the knowledge being taught to them. It’s not just about memorising its about understanding.
Currently:
- Classes are 1 on 1 for full focus on the student but bring some friends along to save and maximise learning! - Minimum class time is 1 hour and can be up to 2 hours depending on your liking. - I prefer to tutor from my home school office equipped with a whiteboard, large desk spaces and an overall quite environment for you child’s learning.
