Personal Description:

**Teaching cello since 2005 and being awarded the Best Teacher Award in 2017**

I have achieved LTCL on Cello Recital with distinction from Trinity Collage and Grade 8 theory with merit from ABRSM.

I played in numerous orchestras and ensembles for years as a cellist and performed in different events such as annual concerts, weddings and private events.

Tutoring Experience:

I taught both individual and group lessons in primary and secondary schools, music centres as well as privately. My students aged from 4 years old to adult with different levels from beginner to ATCL.

I am experienced in preparing ABRSM graded-exams for students in all graded-levels and my students got good result in their exams.

At the moment, I teach students in Hong Kong online, and would like to contribute my passion and expertise in teaching local students.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that every student is unique, I usually modify my teaching approach to best suit for them. I create the learning environment relaxing and enjoyable and the yet the lessons are productive and information on the technical skills. I teach interpretations on the repertories as well as effective ways for practicing.

When teaching young students, I like to work closely to students' parents in order to support the learning of the students.

Parents sit in the lessons are welcomed.
