Personal Description:
My name is Vincent ; I am a professional musician living in Bristol’s city centre. I would describe myself as very sociable, friendly and passionate. My main goal is to help others develop their skills and love for music.
I have over 18 year’s classical experience playing violin and have completed all classical graded examinations up to grade 8. I also have a great amount of Orchestral experience. Using my classical training and performance skills I currently work freelance for a variety of private functions, such as weddings. I have had a great deal of folk influence throughout my violin career and currently play in two professional folk bands both based in Bristol.
Alongside the violin I also play as a guitarist with over a decade's worth of experience, playing both solo and in bands covering and experimenting with a range of styles. My involvement with various bands over the last decade has given me the opportunity to develop my own song writing abilities as well as compose my own music with both instruments.
I am educated in the Theory of Music and include the teaching of this in my lessons if required
Tutoring Experience:
I currently have three years of teaching experience in both violin and guitar and I have also been developing my teaching skills at Gymboree Bristol where I teach music, play and communication helping with the general development of preschool children.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to Music Tuition for both Violin and Guitar is primarily student led. Through clear communication I work together with my student teaching in the areas they want to develop, to give a full teaching experience.
I can give lessons on a weekly/fortnightly basis and offer a flexible, person-centred approach to suit the needs of each individual. Anything from developing basic to intermediate skills on violin and guitar, through to graded examinations and learning songs.
I work with a wide variety of styles and musical genres encouraging practice and progression within and between each lesson, ensuring my student is satisfied with its content.

I had never been taught music before and did not know anything about music theory. Vincent made it easy for me to understand, I made great progress in a short time thanks to his methods.
I highly recommend him !
Thank you Vincent !
