Personal Description:
I am a professional freelance cellist and teacher with over 9 years teaching experience. I currently perform with orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout the UK since graduating with a Masters in Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music. I have worked with a variety of students through different programmes including In Harmony Liverpool Philharmonic and the Junior Birmingham Conservatoire.
Tutoring Experience:
I provide private one-to-one cello tuition alongside teaching in schools and have SEND experience.
I offer lessons for £42.50/hour with a travel fee added if lessons take place at the students house.
Tutoring Approach:
I firmly believe that if you enjoy doing something not only will you want to do it, but progress significantly faster. I want my pupils to not only enjoy their lessons, but also their individual practice.
I can cater for the needs of each individual, whether that be to work towards graded exams, or playing just for fun. I can provide lessons for all ages, it's never too late to learn!
I can offer lessons ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour both online and in person.
I hold an enhanced DBS check and have completed training in safeguarding.

She has a wonderful manner that is both relaxing and confidence building. Her professionalism is always there, and there is just enough of a steely hint towards discipline to make sure you concentrate! Discipline entirely made from compassion and a desire to get you to your own best.
The warm comfort of her lovely home just adds to the confidence boost of her lessons.
Can't recommend her enough!
