She graduated her Bachelor degree in Music from European University Cyprus in 2016. In 2017 she received her saxophone Diploma from Conservatory of Lamia. In 2018 she attended Postgraduate studies in Music Education: Instrumental and Vocal Teaching (saxophone teaching) in University of York which she graduated in 2019. The primary saxophone teachers were Yiannis Miralis and Thanos Fisekis and Sarah Markham. She has also attended masterclasses with Jean Marie Londeix, Griffin Campell, George Porte, Mimmo Malandra, Mathew Arau, Olavi Kasemaa, Nino Dimov, Theodore Kerkezos and Theofilos Sotiriadis.
She was a first prize winner in various saxophone competitions in Greece (2007-2014). In 2012 she won 1st prize in Panhellenic and Pancypriot saxophone competition and scholarship for her Bachelor studies at European University Cyprus which she has graduated.
Vasiliki is a founded member in Greek Saxophone Association. She took part in the concerts : “Parcours”, “Flevares Projects”. “Women composers”, and she also performed at the Embassy of Belgium in Cyprus, the Embassy of Italy in Cyprus, at Athens Conservatory in Greece, at Music Concert Hall of Thessaloniki in Greece, etc. She also performed as orchestra and ensemble member with the saxophone trio and quartet of European University Cyprus, Symphonic Band of Strovolos Municipality-European University Cyprus and the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra Wind Band. She took part as a saxophone player in the theatrical work titled “Εκκλησιάζουσες Πρόβα Τζενεράλε” with her teacher in composition George Christofi.
She also plays the alto saxophone in Cyprus Saxophone Quartet which she is a founded member. As a quartet she performed in competition in Larissa for wind ensembles in 2018 and in the concert there for soloists. In June, they performed for the President of Cyprus in CIPA Awards 2018.
In addition to her performances as a saxophonist, Vasiliki also presented music papers in “Astucon Project” at University of Nicosia, and in “Sayes” at European University Cyprus. She took part in a project for music in silent films with her own composition.
She has also teaching experience. She was teaching 2016-2018 in three conservatoires in Nicosia, Cyprus. In 2018 she has attended the Child Protection Awareness Training Workshop at University of York. In 2018-2019 she was teaching saxophone, through her course, to students at University of York. In 2019-2020 she worked as a saxophone tutor in a Music School in Greece. Currently she works at London Saxophone School.
