Personal Description:
I'm a patient and friendly music tutor specialising in piano, guitar and music production. I also have a background in live Sound Engineering, having studied in Oxford. I enjoy working with students of all ages, from beginner to intermediate level.
Tutoring Experience:
My main teaching experience is one-on-one tuition in Schools and privately, for piano, guitar and music production. I also teach Sound Engineering, and have taught English and Maths on a voluntary basis abroad.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach is focused very much on the student, drawing on their natural talent and abilities whilst expanding on other areas in which they might be lacking. I try to incorporate some fun into lessons as I believe lessons have to be enjoyable for the student and important for their motivation and willingness to learn. Being able to play your favorite music is quite something, but I also enjoy encouraging/teaching the creative art of composition!
I teach from my own premises in Didcot. I’m also able to travel to you and teach within the comfort of your own home.
