Personal Description:

Over my years of learning about the voice, I’ve fought every battle, every fear and every mental block you could go through with your voice, and I’m still here singing every day. Speech Level Singing did it for me and today it is my passion to share and teach these techniques with anyone who is interested in singing.

I’ve been teaching and running workshops for Speech Level Singing in Edinburgh for years and have been lucky enough to work with some incredibly talented singers and individuals from all levels of vocal experience.

Over my years of training for my Speech Level Singing certifications, and as active member of Speech Level Singing International I am lucky to have constant access and training from the very best vocal Master teachers in the world.

Teachers like, Mike Goodrich, former Speech Level Singing Master teacher and creator of Activation Voice Control, Greg Enriquez, current Master Teacher and Teacher Evaluator of Speech Level Singing, Jeffrey Skousan, CEO of Speech Level International and also a current Master Teacher and Teacher Evaluator of Speech Level Singing.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching a wide range and variety of singers from all levels of experience from complete beginners to session musicians and singer/song writers. I have been a Speech Level Singing teacher for the last 3 years and a singer using Speech Level Singing for the last 4 years.

The biggest difference between me and most other singing teachers is that I undergo a rigorous certification and proficiency training process every year. I have to be able to display a developing understanding of the voice and Speech Level Singing methods and this benefits you as a student hugely.

I also have access to a worldwide network of teachers, peers and colleagues which is all to the benefit of you the student.

Tutoring Approach:

Every singer is different and every voice but it's their tendencies can be very similar. All lessons are based on diagnostics where we work out what your voice is doing in that particular lesson, whilst making sure that we are continuing to work towards your long term goals.

My goal with you as the singer is to help you to be able to sing in a relaxed and effortless way, to develop a natural, strong and connected voice from top to bottom and to extend your range.
