Personal Description:
UPDATE: Lockdown is a great opportunity to learn to play an instrument which might also be an antidote to the stresses of social distancing - a moral-boosting focus on positivity, progress and enjoyment!
In order to continue teaching during social distancing, I am now giving online lessons using Zoom - lessons are already up, running and going well - we are all enjoying them.
The first lesson to new students is 50% off. Please send me a message if you would like more information or to organise!
Learning a musical instrument is, in my opinion, one of the most rewarding pastimes. Whether it’s just for fun or if you’re working towards exams for your instrument, I am very happy to help you learn to play, perform and understand theory to a high standard.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over ten years of teaching experience in schools and 1:1 with private students and I currently help to run an orchestra for BMS to enable gifted young musicians to experience and enjoy playing music together. Past performances venues include Wembley Arena.
Tutoring Approach:
My lessons are structured around each individual's needs and always delivered in a friendly and encouraging manner. I am happy to travel to the students’ location to teach.
Lessons cover: instrumental technique, sight reading, jazz improvisation, rhythm and harmony exercises. I’m always happy to assist students’ musical interests in any other areas.
