Information About Tibor - Chiswick teacher

Personal Description:

Hi! I'm an energetic and fun-loving individual with a passion for music and meeting new people. I have been playing the drums for over 13 years and I have two grade 8 drum certificates from Trinity College and Rockschool. I have played in various bands which featured styles ranging from Rock to Funk and Jazz. I'm easy going and super friendly with buckets of enthusiasm. I love interacting and working with people in person, especially when it involves teaching and passing on knowledge that I have.

I also play the guitar to a grade 6 level and a little bit of bass In my spare time I also play a wide variety of sports and love the outdoors. I am a forestry graduate and passionate Rollerblader :)

Tutoring Experience:

I have had various students over the years mainly consisting of friends and young children starting out on the drum kit. I have a number of local child pupils that I am currently teaching with more on the way.

Tutoring Approach:

For me, the most important thing is that the student enjoys learning and playing an instrument and develops a genuine desire to improve. My general approach to teaching focuses on creating a pleasant and interesting learning experience that incorporates both technical and performance-based exercises. I aim to add fun and creative activities to keep students on their toes and inspired in order for lessons to stay dynamic and exciting.
I believe that following a grade structured system is an extremely effective way to learn (That's how I learnt!) however I am of course open to all suggestions and I will adapt my teaching to suit the student's needs.
