Tutoring Experience:

Tom possesses 10 years experience in playing, writing and performing, a 1st Class Honours in Music Performance from ICMP, one of the countries top music schools, and 2 years experience in teaching and Guitar, Music Theory, Production and Songwriting to a variety of age groups and group sizes. He also holds a full DBS that has been done by the countries leading Music Union the Musicians Unions giving parents peace of mind for their Child's safety.

Tutoring Approach:

Many tutors take a cookie cutter one size fits all approach when it comes to their lesson plans and materials. This can often result in lessons that are boring, arduous and un-engaging. Tom always aims to meet the pupil where they are by creating bespoke, individually designed lessons and materials that fit the passions and interests of the pupil rather than assigning materials and songs to learn each lesson that may not be at all interesting for students. Tom finds this makes the lessons fun and engaging as the Pupil can learn all skills essential to their development through the music they love rather than the music assigned to them.
