Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Tetiana. I teach piano,guitar,ukulele and mandoline. I am located in Birmingham and have 15 years experience of teaching music to students of any age, encompassing a range of inspiring repertoire from Baroque and Renaissance to the present day, including covers on popular rock songs and pieces that have been recently published for the first time.
The duets/ensemble option is also available.

Tutoring Approach:

I use the group and individual music teaching methods combined with my personal instrumental performance experience, which allows me to help students to study a wide range of musical genres, with opportunities for practical learning, it brings theory, listening and even composition together. I believe that in engaging ways musical performance provides all students with a platform to inspire a lifelong interest and enjoyment of music. I am enthusiastic and passionate about music. I believe that music has massive impact on children, helps them to learn more about themselves, helps to relax and motivates to get through daily tasks. I see music as a very important subject at school, due to the fact that it is constantly creates different environment, music is part of the culture, it brings people together. Music can completely change the mood; it can be used as a therapy. Music is constantly evolving, inspiring creativity and expression in a way that no other subject can.
As a piano and guitar tutor I am offering students a broader range of styles and techniques to choose from. In addition to the Piano/Keyboard or Classical Guitar syllabus, I can offer the Acoustic Guitar syllabus, which reinvents the successful learning of wide range of styles of music, my educational level and personal experience allow me to help students with using their voices/vocal tasks as well, technical work includes specially composed exercises for each grade, covering the technique required specifically for classicaly trained instrumentalists, ensuring that all learners can put scales and arpeggios into the performance context if desirable.
