Personal Description:

I am an enthusiastic and motivational teacher, performer and songwriter who has graduated from the British and Irish Institute of Modern Music with a BA (Hons) in Songwriting and a MA (Mmus) in The Production of Popular Music from Kingston University London. I have been singing and playing piano for many years and would love to share my knowledge with others

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching piano and singing for 5 years in schools and also privately. I have taken students through grades, helped them to record their own songs and also helped them with building confidence for performances.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a relaxed teacher who tailors lessons to each individual to maximise the enjoyment of each session, whether it is in singing, piano, or song writing and production skills, whilst also helping students understand the importance of music theory and the correct approach to learning an instrument.

I am able to teach genres ranging from Pop to Classical as well as other styles such as Jazz and Soul to anyone of any capability.

• Writing songs and learning how to record them at home
• Understanding music theory
• Developing your tone, pitch, range, riffs and runs and vocal control
• Music production techniques
