Tamaki is a recipient of various international prizes and performs extensively across the UK, Europe and Japan. She enjoys freelancing with the UK's major orchestras including Philharmonia, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and London Sinfonietta. Until recently, she was a member of the orchestra of English National Opera. She studied at the Royal College of Music, Guildhall School of Music & Drama and Yehudi Menuhin School.
