Personal Description:

As a PhD graduate in music from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, I have built upon the strong foundation of my Master's degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I achieved a distinction. Throughout my studies, I had the privilege of learning from world-renowned musicians, including David Corkhill, Michael Skinner, Simon Limbrick, Richard Benjafield, Adrian Spillet, and Julian Philips.

Holding a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), I have gained valuable experience in teaching both classroom and private students, demonstrating my ability to adapt to different learning environments and cater to individual needs. This exceptional training has enabled me to perform at prestigious venues worldwide, such as the Barbican Hall and the Royal Albert Hall in London, as well as the Sumida Hall in Tokyo.

My compositional talents have been recognised through collaborations with some of the world's most accomplished artists, including Hiromi Harashima, a second-prize winner of the International Marimba Competition's duo division, the Dolcinea Quartet, and Hibiki Ichikawa, among other esteemed musicians. These opportunities have allowed me to showcase my creativity and contribute to the diverse landscape of contemporary music.

My extensive training and accomplishments in both performance and composition, coupled with my teaching experience, have prepared me for a multifaceted career in the music industry. I look forward to continuing to make a lasting impact through my work as an educator and a performer.
