Personal Description:

Playing and teaching the violin has always been an important part of my life. I play regularly in several orchestras and believe that orchestral playing is a wonderful experience.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching the violin for many years. I am happy to take beginners from the age of 5 years. I have students at all levels and all ages and many pupils have been with me from the begining through to grade 8 and beyond.

Tutoring Approach:

I am happy to prepare students for Associated Board exams and I am also happy to help with taking the grade 5 theory exam which is necessary to be able to enter for grade 6. I believe that lessons should be fun but at the same time I am strict with the disciplines required to play the violin well.
