Personal Description:

I have worked both in the Classical and musical theatre world and have been teaching for over 20 years. I am a composer/arranger and musical director.

Tutoring Experience:

Work Experience in Education and Musical Directing
• Peripatetic voice teacher and musical director - Responsibilities include guiding students through the ABRSM examinations up to grade 8 standard and tutoring them in musicianship skills, which includes singing at sight and aural perception. Arranging music for vocal ensembles and orchestras. Directing school choirs and voice coaching for musical theatre productions. Accompanying students both in lessons and examinations.

• Director of Suffolk Constabulary Male Voice Choir – Responsibilities include arranging music for concert repertoire and directing the choir accordingly both in rehearsal and concerts.

• Composition – Worked with Trinity Choir Cambridge (directed by Stephen Layton) on my Arthurian Sketches; a setting of Tennyson’s Arthurian poetry for SATB choir.
