Personal Description:
My name is Steve and I teach guitar at my home in Melksham and also at a school
Tutoring Experience:
I have over 20 years' teaching guitar at all levels. I am classically trained but also teach electric guitar and am a songwriter with performing experience over many years.
Tutoring Approach:
I apply a dynamic approach to teaching, tailoring my teaching methods to suit the student. While encouraging students to learn to read music, I can write guitar tablature if a student particularly requires this, but for learning the classical guitar, standard musical notation is essential, and beginners often discover that it is not difficult to learn.
