Personal Description:

I'm a Pro player with a playing history that includes many styles, I studied for many years in Newcastle with Frank Gibney and then at Drumtech in London with Paul Elliott, Brian Green, Bosco D'Oliviera and Francis Seriau. I'm a versatile drummer that has toured europe with rock bands, spent several years as a theatre musician and also played in Jazz combos and Guest Bands on cruise ships.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 25 years of experience teaching kids and adults of all levels privately and in schools and colleges (Durham School, Weston College, Clevedon School, Broadoak Maths & Computing College, Hans Price Academy), I hold DBS certification and public liability cover. I understand after teaching so many people over the years that everyone learns in different ways. I believe that your drum lessons should be geared to your interests and musical goals, I'm happy to teach all necessary techniques and concepts as they crop up and feel once a basic level has been reached that you should be playing along to music and have some fun. I'm also happy to help students take any grades should they wish to do so.
