Personal Description:
I was taught on the Organ with pedals by a performer who worked on the band stand at Southend, I started teaching in 1984.
I purchased a Hotel in Cliftonville Kent in 1985 this is when I started entertaining guests with the music I played.
I switched to playing keyboards in 1990.
I sold my Hotel in 1990, now I concentrate on teaching keyboards and entertaining by playing the keyboards.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching Organ and Keyboard since 1984, I teach to L.C.M. Grade standards and to date all my students have passed with credit or Distinction. I also teach for pleasure.
My student age experience is from 6 years old to 80 years.
Tutoring Approach:
I am dedicated to get the best performance from the student as I can. I play all kinds of music, if the student is playing for pleasure, they decide
what music they would like to play. That is the way I was taught, if you like something you will learn quicker.
If you are taking exam standards you will governed by their music books. But the student chooses what sound from the keyboard they would like.
I only travel to the students home, the student learns much quicker in their own surroundings. The Music Lesson is One Hour Long, fees start from £30.00 for local student, fee wil be based on distance.
