Personal Description:
I'm a professional harpist and teacher of harp, piano, cello and recorder based in Poole, Dorset.
I enjoy teaching pupils of all ages and abilities.
I also run harp ensembles for my pupils.
Tutoring Experience:
I've taught for over 15 years in both schools and privately. I teach both children and adults of all abilities. I teach children from the age of 5.
I have successfully prepared students for ABRSM and Trinity College examinations across all instruments, school music performances, and auditions.
Many of my young students have developed into confident musicians, while my adult students have discovered the joy of playing music regardless of their starting point.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that everyone should enjoy playing and learning music. Each lesson is tailored to the individual pupil and there is the opportunity to take either ABRSM or Trinity exams. I work on technique and teach a wide range of genres including, classical, celtic and popular music…
