Enhanced DBS -- Bmus Piano Performance --

I am Stefano, and music has always been a big part of my life. I was lucky enough to be surrounded by inspiring musicians and teachers since I was a young child: they shaped my musical life with knowledge and curiosity, and they helped me achieve a Bmus (Hons) in Piano Performance at the Conservatoire of Music “G. Ghedini” (Cuneo – Italy).

Tutoring Experience:

I’ve been offering private piano lessons on and off for many years alongside my 9-5 job, however I have now decided to focus on my pupils full time and I will finally be able to welcome new students!

Over the years, I took part in chamber music ensembles and masterclasses from distinguished personalities of the Italian piano scene (Bruno Canino, Riccardo Zadra and Pietro de Maria among others), as well as piano recitals and competitions in Northern Italy, while completing my Piano Diploma and Degree at the Conservatoire of Music of Cuneo (Italy) with highest honours.

Tutoring Approach:

My aim is to help children discover the passion and the feeling of fulfilment only music can bring to our lives. My dream is that one day, when they’re grown-ups, they will be able to pick up a piano score and enjoy themselves reading it and playing it as if they were reading a book.

I also believe in the importance of building a solid foundation in music theory, improvisation and aural skills. There's nothing more rewarding than listening to a piece of music or a song and being able to fully understand it and boost our creativity to make our own melodies.
