Personal Description:
NOW TEACHING ONLINE! Born in Australia, I am an Irish Citizen and am currently based in Llandaff, Cardiff. I work primarily as an opera singer but have played the violin since I was 3 and the piano since I was 5. Both I studied for 10 years. My mother is a cello teacher and I studied all levels on the cello, completing a Performance Degree. I then continued my studies at university as a singer and have been working professionally both in Australia and here in the UK. **Removed By Admin**
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching violin, piano, voice and cello for the past 20 years and have taken students through many exams. I am familiar with the ABRSM method, as well as Suzuki. My students have ranged between 4-60 years of age and I am experienced individually as well as in groups. I am comfortable teaching all styles of singing including Classical, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Pop & Folk.
Tutoring Approach:
My method is quite simple - I value the importance of making music fun, so that the student always wants to practice. I do this by relating their learning to what means a lot to the student - e.g. one of my students really likes computer games so we made a violin game during which he could become one of his favourite characters.

It did not help that sophie did not have a piano. I'm sure she's very good but the situation was impossible. Have since found an excellent tutor in Chesham
