Personal Description:
I started playing the piano when I was 7 and I graduated at the Conservatory of Mantova (Italy) in 2007 and moved to the UK in 2015. I'm classically trained but I have broad musical interests, especially pop, rock and recently latin music. Students can enjoy my fanstastic Boston GP163 gran piano.
Tutoring Experience:
I've been teaching piano since February 2018, both children and adults.
Tutoring Approach:
I am strongly convinced that learning any instrument requires passion and commitment. I always try to motivate and encourage my students as much as I can, keeping the lesson environment friendly and relaxed, but at the same making my students working hard, optimising the time they spend with me.
My students use my book (downlodable for free) for theory and solfege and books written by well known piano composers for children (Beyer, Czerny, Burgmuller, Duvernoy, Heller, Clementi and so on).
My teaching is oriented to multiple aspects of the music and not only on piano playing.
From the beginning I teach my students how music is organised and structured, in parallel with the fundamentals of the piano technique.
I believe that singing is a very important component of music education, and I spend at least 5 minutes per lesson on singing, pitch recognition and aural skills.
I also teach my students how to practise effectively and achieve good results in a short time. Students can download the "guidelines on piano practising" that I wrote and are stongly encouraged to use them as a reference during each practise session.

Thank you for your feedback!
Our two children enjoy his lessons, and the fact that he can adapt his teaching to their personality and age is highly beneficial.
I would not hesitate recommending Simone to all those interested in discovering or improving their piano playing skills.

thank you very much for your positive feedback. It's very important to build a solid piano technique from the beginning, learn and understand music theory and get familiar with the solfege before learning complicated piano pieces.
Best regards
