Personal Description:

I am a friendly and professional guitar teacher with nearly 20 years of playing experience. I teach a range of musical styles and I really enjoy helping my students reach the next level of their playing.
I always tailor my lessons around each pupil’s individual needs and tastes in music to keep lessons engaging and enjoyable.
Maybe you are an absolute beginner hoping to get to grips with some of your favourite tunes.
Maybe you already have some playing experience but you would like to up your game by developing your skills and musical knowledge.
Maybe you are already well on your way to rock 'n' roll stardom and you just need a few pointers to send you on your way.
Whatever stage you are in your musical journey, my guitar lessons are here to help you reach the next level of your playing.
I also teach bass and ukulele!

Tutoring Experience:

My Teaching work started at Kirklees Music School in Huddersfield in 2013 in the Final year of my degree. Here I worked with various age groups on a variety of musical scenarios ranging from rock bands to jazz to giving one-to-one guitar tuition.
I began giving private guitar lessons in 2014 in London. Here I tutored a diverse clientele offering a range of teaching material and delivering fantastic learning experiences to my students.
I have been based in Bristol since March 2016 and I have been enjoying teaching in and around the area.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that anyone must enjoy their learning process in order for it to be effective. I've always found that you get so much more quality from a lesson where a student is interested in what's being studied. To reflect this, I take a key interest in each student's musical preferences and I will often shape a lesson round this. At the same time I will always make sure that the lesson content is productive and helpful to an individual's playing.
