Personal Description:
My name is Silvio , I am a MComp with distinction at the Royal College of Music, BMus in piano with 1st class Honours and a BMus 1st class (summa cum laude) in composition.
I moved to London on September 2019, I am very passionate about music and art in general. I won several composition competitions in Italy and around the world.
Tutoring Experience:
I have 7 years of experience in teaching; I taught pupils in Italy of different ages, from 6 years old to elder people. Nowadays I am teaching here in London pupils from 4 to 12 in 3 different schools as well as private students.
Tutoring Approach:
I tend to mix piano teaching and composition in order to give pupils a better musical acknowledge and to let them improve their skills. With the youngest I use to approach music as a game, even trying to insert some contemporary music features (e.g. such as clusters) in order to open their mind since the beginning.
