Personal Description:

I am an organist and musician living and working in Cambridge and London, having just finished my degree at the University of Cambridge, where I studied music for my BA and History and Philosophy of Science for my MSci. I was an organ scholar throughout my degree at Selwyn College.

I have given various recitals over the last few years across the country, mostly as an organist, but also as an accompanist and occasionally as a conductor. I have also performed as a flautist, clarinettist, oboist, and saxophonist.

I am willing to travel provided the destination is accessible via public transport.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching music, particularly piano, organ and flute, since 2012 and have taught all levels from beginner to ABRSM Grade 8 for all ages. I have taught both towards the aim of passing ABRSM exams and for fun. All of the students I have entered into ABRSM exams have passed.

I have also done many ABSRM grades myself (up to Grade 8 in Flute, Clarinet, Piano and Organ) and have obtained the ARCO and FRCO organ diplomas.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe a flexible and friendly approach is vital in order for the student to reach their full potential. Particularly where exams are concerned, I try and ensure the student is able to enjoy learning the music.
