Information About Selina - Eastleigh teacher

Personal Description:

Selina has played drums since she was 11. Receiving drum qualifications in Trinity awards she has been drumming on the local scene for over a decade teaching both Trinity and Rockschool examinations. Selina uses a multi sensory approach to teaching (mainly young child and young adults) to encourage and empower drummers who learn at different speeds, understand coordination and patterns in different ways. Selina has a full size electric kit (Millennium MPS-1000) and can travel with kit to the tutees for better and more comfortable experience learning in their own environment

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching drums in 1:1 settings and group sessions for a number of years on both electric and acoustic. Ages range from 5+ up to 99! Beginners very welcome, equally someone who has experience but would like to do casual lessons without commitment to an award/grade is welcome!

Tutoring Approach:

I provide not only sheet music but add unique methods to learning (such as games, colour coded sessions for patterns and coordination). I am a lecturer by day, and teaching really is my passion.
