Personal Description:

I am a graduated violinist from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, learning under the tutorage of several teachers at the college. I am passionate about music education being accessible to as many as possible. Overall, I have been playing the violin for the last 14 years and the viola for the last 9. I am fully DBS checked and registered on the update service. I also have flexible slots to help accommodate busy working adults!

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught a a handful of students alongside my studies, whilst at the RWCMD, which were mainly causal lessons. Since graduating, I have gained a wealth of experience with an expanding teaching practice teaching various ages. I have four years teaching experience with different age groups and a result of this I have created many teaching resources to help support them on their musical journey.

Tutoring Approach:

Open to an adaptable and flexible approach to suit each individual as everyone learns in a different way and at varying paces. I am open to students choosing their own repertoire or learning any particular genre they are passionate about as it's important to enjoy the music you play. I feel lessons should have a strong focus on technique, but it is crucial this is used as a way to help express the music in the way you feel is right as the performer. I am open to teaching individually or as a group setting. I offer lessons in person and online.
