Information About Sarah - Glasgow teacher

Personal Description:

Hi. My name is Sarah and I am a professional opera singer and voice teacher. I have worked as a Scottish Opera Emerging Artist and in particular with their Education Department. I am a graduate of the Guildhall Opera Course and the National Opera Studio and hold a BMus and MMus.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been singing professionally for over 10 years and teaching for the past 5 years. I have taught people of all ages from 6 to 60 and have prepared students to successfully pass their ABRSM exams. I have an Enhanced DBS (PVG) check which allows me to work with children and vulnerable adults.

Tutoring Approach:

I currently have availability for students of all ages regardless of ability. I believe in teaching solid technique and can assist you with issues such as correct breathing, posture, confidence, musicianship and repertoire, all in a friendly, fun and relaxed environment. I am also happy to enter students for graded exams if they wish. Whether you’d like to sing in a choir, as a soloist or purely for your own pleasure I can help you to discover your true voice!
NB. I am currently only teaching online but will resume face-to-face teaching as soon as possible
